Simulacrum

You find yourself face down on a muddy puddle. Half buried in a small patch of thick leaf litter and exposed roots

Mud water fills your socks as the scent of a strong metallic tang fills your airway. A soft breeze ruffles your hair.

Your head feels foggy.
